The product is installed at the connection point between the dredger pump inlet and the pipeline, facilitating disassembly and installation. 

It serves to cushion, dampen vibrations, and reduce noise. 

A bow-shaped convex surface is incorporated at the midpoint of the pipe section between the two flanges to provide flexibility to the expansion joint.
